More Remodeling

This past weekend we finally finished painting our bedroom. It's been half painted for a few months.. Let's just say, time and money got the best of us these past few months. But now it's done, D-O-N-E, DONE! There's a few details to wrap up in there and then let the detailing begin (Sabrina's favorite part). With a couple coats of paint, this room has taken a completely different look, it's now very warm and cozy feeling. I will be posting pictures to show you soon!

We've also got paint waiting for the bathroom, the spare bedroom and the office. (Looks like lots of work ahead of us!) We're looking forward to everything though, mostly feeling accomplished and like our house is complete.

This summer we plan to re-do our backyard. Right now it is a cement and mud... pit. We've got some great ideas to turn this in to a place we can BBQ and relax in the summer time! We can't wait!!

As for now, we are taking it day by day... not because we are worn out or lazy, but because on Sunday we are leaving for a week long vacation to Texas!! We're stoked to get away and Sabrina is excited to see some new places! Stories of our adventures to come...

It's Official!

Alright ya'll, it's official. Sabrina will be starting back to school this summer for her Master's in Education with an ELL(english language learners) Endorsement! Phew! That's right folks, we'll be getting married and hoping Sabrina can keep it all under control while starting school.

We'd love to tell you that in our absence we were kicking back enjoying some adult beverages and fun in the sun.. however if we were being honest, this was not completely true. There wasn't any sun involved. There were the occasional adult beverages (who can make it through a work week now-a-days without a nice cold beer or glass of wine?!) and lots of fun! 

Wedding Update

March 9 marked the official 4 month countdown to our wedding!! Things are wrapping up and we're ready for the day to get here! Planning a wedding is honestly just like having a second full time job. There is so much to think about, so much to do, and lots of small details that keep popping up. But we've handled it and taken everything head-on and can openly say, we are ready! Just a few more things to wrap up and July can arrive!!

Upcoming Vacation

We've planned a trip to the great state of Texas for the beginning of April. Sabrina hasn't ever been to Texas before, and Steve is VERY excited to show her the ropes. We are excited to get away and enjoy some new experiences!

Work

We've both been working like a dog lately. The "sick-season" is in full swing which mean that Sabrina is subbing regularly.
